Inquiry and problem solving processes
Inquiry and Problem Solving are the two key processes that underpin curriculum integration. The development of 'essential skills', 'knowledge and understandings', and 'attitudes and values', within an integrated curriculum, more often than not takes place within the context of one or both of these processes. There are a wide range of models for both processes. This resource provides a collection of internet sites which describe a range of inquiry and problem solving models. The resource not only links to the sites but can be printed as a reference sheet of the site urls. view

Ideas for developing creative and critical thinking skills
Curriculum integration provides an excellent context for the development of critical and creative thinking skills. These skills are often developed through the inquiry and problem solving processes. As with the processes themselves there exists a range of models that can be used to help with the development of critical and creative thinking skills. The following links provide information about a range of these models as well as collections of internet sites which describe the approaches in more detail.
